Passionate about food and fueled by my Vietnamese roots, I have an unwavering love for both cooking and savoring delicious meals. In Vietnam, where food is a priority, the art of cooking and the joy of dining are deeply ingrained in the culture. Growing up in Denmark, I consider myself a true Dane with a culinary twist, as Danish people enjoy cooking but prefer more time at the table.

My culinary journey began with my talented mother, who turned cooking into an art form. From her, I learned the skill of effortlessly combining ingredients to create incredible dishes. Inspired by her, I founded DiepLicious cooking, where every meal is a masterpiece.

Living amidst the diverse food culture of New York, I soaked in various culinary influences that shaped my cooking style. This led me to venture into the realm of starting my own food business—Hungry Bird Eats.

The beginnings of Hungry Bird Eats were rooted in a personal challenge. Upon discovering my son’s allergies to nuts and soy, I set out on a mission to create allergen-free snacks for him. This journey led to the development of Nordic eats, specifically knækbrød, which I now share through my business.

While my food blog took a backseat after the arrival of my firstborn in 2015, my passion for cooking never waned. I aspire to revive this blog and inspire you to fearlessly experiment with ingredients in your kitchen.

Amidst my culinary adventures, I offer you one Golden Rule: savor every bite, even if it challenges your palate. It may take a few tries to appreciate the true flavors fully.

Here’s to enjoying the art of cooking and the pleasure of savoring each culinary creation!

Cheers, Tina Diep

I’ve ordered Hungry Bird before, and didn’t realize you had this blog, too.
I’m signing up for your email today.
Found you via the Manufacturers Village.
