Have you ever wondered if there is an easier way to remove the seeds of a pomegranate?
I just discovered how easy it is.
DIRECTIONS:
- Fill a bowl with water
- Cut the pomegranate in half. Pull the sides a bit.
- Take a wooden spoon and continue to smack the outside of the pomegranate over the bowl of water until all the seeds fall out
- The seeds will sink in the bowl and the inside shell should float to the top of the water.
- Remove the inside shell and strain the seeds. Voila.
I like to snack on the seeds, but they are also good in a smoothie if you want to add a little crunch.
